The environment requires managing rapid ingress and egress of large crowds, maintaining a low profile to preserve the welcoming atmosphere, and staying prepared for varied threats ranging from medical emergencies to external security risks.

The Leadership Incubator

Beyond operational safety, the team serves as a leadership development engine for our church. By enforcing term limits and mentorship, we treat leadership as a transferable skill. This model has successfully graduated safety team members into executive governance roles (Elders, Deacons) and Staff positions throughout the wider organization.

Recent Audit

This commitment was recently reinforced by hosting a training conference featuring nationally recognized experts in church safety. The review confirmed our current practices are sound, but provided the roadmap for the next phase.
